Banksy designed this 'Vermin at Work' sticker to resemble a British street sign.

The number on the bottom “014/BNK/5Y” is the item number for this sticker and a play on the artists name.
Banksy used number designations in a lot of his street stickers to resemble the official codes used by the UK Highway Agency, this would give the impression they were genuine government communications and would be left alone when stuck on the street.
The Rat Stencil was a significant part of the artists dialogue from 2002 onwards around East London.

Acquired from Nelly Duff Gallery Director circa 2004 from Pictures On Walls (POW).
Sticker printed in colors.
