A delightfully enigmatic pair, this duo of limited edition, archival giclee prints from the marvellous mind of Miss Van are two of our favourite pint sized prints around.
Perfect together, in the same frame or separately – or apart, these charming and unique works remind us why we fell in love with Miss Van in the first place.
Miss Van (AKA Vanessa Alice) was born in Toulouse in 1973, and is where she started her, now incredibly illustrious, career as an artist. Painting alongside Mademoiselle Kat aged 18, Miss Van unlocked a lifelong passion for street art that subverted the norm in terms of style, subject matter and technique.
Characterised by her doll-like, uber-feminine, human-animal hybrid figures, Miss Van’s unique style carved a path through the traditionally masculine, male dominated world of European street art and led the way for new women street artists to make their voices heard. Having exhibited internationally, from New York and Istanbul to her very first institutional solo show at Malaga’s Centro de Arte Contemporáneo in 2016, her long and varied career continues to break boundaries and elevate her to stand alone from her contemporaries.
