Master of line and design fanatic Stephen Anthony Davids is back! Impossible (and inconsequential) to categorise, Davids’ beautiful original paintings are a wonderful insight into the mind of an artist who’s natural progression and commitment to their practise gives such enchanting results.

Sparing with his use of colour, and maximal with his use of space – Davids small, original paintings on paper are moments, thoughts, passing feelings that feel so quickly and dynamically captured they could almost be photographs.

His bold use of line (preferring to use oil pastels and thick crayon than conventional acrylic) and sparing but deliberate use of colour elevate these works into more than original drawings/paintings, but into pieces of design, where every attribute is carefully thought about and paired right back.

Releasing exclusively at Nelly Duff this Summer, we cant wait to share this unique insight into Davids’ latest process.
