Nelly Duff works with some of the finest painters of modern times. Matt Small earned a BP Portrait Prize Nomination for his fantastically evocative mixed media paintings on found objects, meanwhile Sweet Toof combines the traditional medium of oil paint with his distinctly modern style to create iconically subversive paintings on canvas.
Painting's Process
Other artists, such a Jo Peel uses concentrated blocks of painted colour to create her striking large scale mural artworks, whilst Angelique Houtkamp’s medium of choice is water colour, applying delicate layer after layer of colour to create her distinctive antiqued aesthetic. Chris Bourke also uses the subtleties of water colour washes to contrast with the dense line work of his lino cut artworks.
