Antique stylist and London based artist Soozy Lipsey uses a wide variety of media to reimagine the ordinary and traditional into fantastical creations imbued with both nostalgia and the macabre. Lipsey’s technique combines the repurposing of objects or images with the uncanny and unexpected, and results in imaginative, arresting works that exist outside of any discernible style or movement.
Playing with a wide variety of media, her work catalogue includes sculptural pieces using found objects, 2D works – paintings, mixed media collages, and prints. With works appearing across different platforms over 25 years, Soozy eimagines the ordinary and traditional combing with contemporary mark making in bright colours, whilst encourage the viewer to make new connections between ideas, emotions and imagery.
Marcin Filip Cybulski born in Poland Katowice in 1976, in London since 2006. Originally training as a stained glass and glass maker for over 17 years, working as a studio assistant to artists such as Tomasz Tuszko and later Danny Lane, to finally in 2011 making his own choice of becoming an independent artist and study. After finishing a three year degree in Fine Art, he made the decision to continue studying doing an MA in Printmaking at Middlesex University, which he passed in 2017. He then set up his own studio in 2018 in London.
