David Walker has developed a signature style of multi-layering using mark making and scrawled lines, working free hand in spray paint across urban walls. The artist constructs images of weaving clashing colours, decaying letterforms and translucent drips resulting in a photo realistic image with graffiti sensibilities, positively buzzing with energy.
The artist’s prime objective is to question the line drawn between ‘Fine’ & ‘Urban’ art forms. His work has been exhibited worldwide, alongside leading figures in the urban, contemporary and Street Art movement.
