Artist and Royal College of Art graduate Ceal Warnants lives and works in London, UK.
Each piece is drawn from vintage illustrations which provide a visual language to contrast society’s expectations of young people today with the imposing standards of the past. The work is mainly produced using printmaking techniques both old and new. Most recently, the motivation of the work has been around notions of protest, rights and freedom of speech under the collective banner of the “Protest Series”.
