Aurélie Lagoutte is a French Artist Film photographer currently based in London. She uses 35mm, medium format and Polaroid. Her photographs are a tribute and a discovery of the female body always portrayed in a very intimate and delicate state. With her camera she frees the body from judgment, guilt and shame and instead celebrates and honors it.
Printing is an important part of Aurelie’s process. For her, spending time in a darkroom feels like a long meditation session, it brings stillness and calm which has a big influence on her love for film photography.
