Anna is an experienced Casting Director, having worked in commercials for the past twenty years. She’s called North London her home for over thirty years, where she still lives with her children Rudy and Sonny, their dogs Quincey and Minnie, and Harper Lee the cat.
I have to say I have never really looked at interiors and style in that way. I have very eclectic tastes, and through my travels if I see something I like, I buy it and then it seems to find a home in my house; from plastic cartoon statues,to crosses, to Victorian Minature paintings. I love a home to feel like a home and a reflection of one’s life; it takes time.
I have to say sometimes my house has got too many nicky nacky things and lately I have started to get rid of lots of objects. At different times in life it feels good to unclutter and edit.

I think the kitchen is, it is a great family and friends space and the one place in the house we all spend time together. Food is so much nicer to prepare when others are in room each doing different things.
The walls keep having more and more pictures added and then swapped around, it’s amazing how changing them around really changes the place. It’s a happy room to walk into.
I think objects and art speak to you, you feel gravitated towards them. My father died and my mum gave us children some money and I decided I wanted to buy a piece of art so I would always have something in his honor. I walked into Nelly Duff and saw the Matt Small painting Becky and fell in love with it, it really talked to me, and I love the piece just as much now as when I first saw it. I say wait and when you are not looking the art will find you.
