the images of love…

First news of the year from Nelly as it took us some time to recover from the show that was the Open Studio, much fun was had. We are expecting a new Duff in the coming weeks...So speaking of love...

We would like to introduce to you some great lovers and super talented friends of Nelly, the Frenchman Gilles and his Norwegian partner Cecilie. Their first Prints for Nelly are
the opposing: 1. without hate there is no love and 2. without love there is no hate

For this series of prints Gilles & Cecilie depicts the opposites and attractions in their relationship with each other and their surrounding environment. The original artwork is paper hand cut delicately with a scalpel. They mix watercolour with silkscreen, hand printed by the artists on Saunders Waterford Watercolour paper.

Pure Evil has created one of his most unique limited edition artworks yet... A hand stenciled giant Bunny (sprinkled in black diamond dust) walks over a great inferno engulfing victorian london (hand stained with a variety of inks). Defend London is an edition x 10 and is available from the gallery only and not online, so come on down and see us ; )

If your like us and feel the love for the TOASTER, then maybe check out the Valentines message on a Billboard in Finsbury Park, where they show the love to the lucky people of Finsbury Park, after much badgering they have agreed to do a small edition of I ♥TOASTER available from march 1st.

We are very excited to announce the long anticipated show by our resident Tattoo queen Angelique Houtkamp. The show is scheduled to open on Thursday 5th June and will see a series of her unique watercolour characters including half women, half animal, freakshow/carnival ladies, and skullfaces to name a few. More updates to follow.
